Using search strings in links to get a link back

Hello,

I have pondered this before and I was doing research today on it. If you make a link to a website with a search string dioes still count as a link back. I know Google wants organic and so do I. But I also want credit for being listed in search engines and I want to show people that we are listed to help create trust.

Here is a link to a Dallas news website with DWHS's search string: Web Hosting

I see there is no Page Rank but it also has good keywords and can show customers that we are in the news so to speak lol

Anyways if you have thoughts on this please let me know.
